Fragrance Quick Story
The kind of dirty that I love. This is an animalic love fest. Fruity animalics, floral animalics, and Santal animalics. All bursting with an accord that is one of a kind. It has air that it projects and will keep you interested during the entire wearing. Like all of the Au brothers’ perfumes, this is vegan. They have built their own musk accords to take the place of using real animalic material such as civet, siberian deer, or even ambergris.
Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfume’s Notes
This will throw you off if you look at notes. Every peach and apricot I own in my collection is completely different than what happens here. To get what I mean, we need to take the sugar out of the peach and the apricot, for the most part. What is left is a succulent fume of dried peach and apricot drenched in osmanthus and dusted with powder. Their touch of orris seems to be present or some other kind of powder note. Probably not orris, or it would be listed. Leather is a note beneath. The green tea is dry, like smelling from a tea bag and not the cup of tea. Woods are new and interesting: light cedar, sandalwood, and hinoki.
For the mid, after around ninety minutes or so, this settles in to give off a very sweet florallike scent. Both fruits are in the background on top of a sweet floral bouquet. I would not categorize this as a gourmand, but I would use the word “pretty.” Still would keep this at 50/50. It’s just a brilliant transition. Upon studying, I now know that the sweet scent comes from the Katsura leaf, which is known to give off a cotton candy vibe. It makes this all the more special. Finishes with a nice musk from the Au’s toolbox that is a mix of animalic, fruity, and floral. Overall, this is a special osmanthus wonder to behold. The golden effects on the woods, fruits, and leaves are aromatic brilliance that is a day changer. 50 Masculine and 50 Feminine Eugene & Emrys AuMiyako is a winner of The Art and Olfaction Awards 2016
Notes included: Apricot, Yuzu, Peach, Japanese Golden Osmanthus (Kin Mokusei), Jasmine Green Tea, Leather, Precious Woods (Hinoki, Cedar, Sandalwood), Patchouli, Katsura Leaf, Silken Musk Format: Extrait Concentration: 33% Size options: 30ml bottle / 1ml sample - LIMITED EDITION - The opening shouts juicy peach, tangy and zesty yuzu, and sweet ripe apricot. Gradually, the unique sweet note of Japanese golden osmanthus (Kin-Mokusei) shines through, accompanied by a touch of jasmine green tea note. All these sweet notes are cut by shades of metallic and bitter leather note, resulting in a "shibui" and balanced scent. Various woody notes consisting of hinoki, cedar and sandalwood, underpainted with dashes of earthy-powdery note of patchouli and caramelized-sweet note of katsura leaf, then exudes from the heart note. The dry down, embellished with silken musk, turns into a velvety smooth lusciousness. A complex and dramatic fragrance to treat that idiosyncratic soul within yourself. Settings: Walking down the serene street of the ancient capital city of the Far East Land. Golden osmanthus (Kin-Mokusei) flowers are in full bloom, exuding its sweet and exotic scent with notes of ripe apricot, peach and freesia. There are also Yuzu trees in the midst of the osmanthus, adding a hint of citrus to the bouquet. Jackets worn by pedestrians fill the air with a touch of leather. Notes of Jasmine green tea come from the tea house nearby. Geishas with white faces and red lips are walking up and down, and the slight powdery note of those scented sachets tied to their waists slowly penetrates the air. Finally, scents of precious woods from the nearby Jinja (shrine) shine through, accompanied by the sweet, caramellic Katsura leaves which have already turned red in this season of autumn.Perfumer's Notes:

“Buy a Bottle”
I've heard that they use to be a lot cheaper in the past, glad they don't ship to my country because I have spent a lot of money this month:
a full bottle of eo1 edp and areej le dore war and peace.
prin is also coming with new stuff in december( in both prissana and strangers)
have you ordered anything from areej le dore's new collection?
@Therapeutic Fragrance I was just sharing information I've read from adam's instagram , haven't researched this jubject
for myself , what is the best oud perfume you have last year's eo1 or last year's auphorie?
Absolutely I did see that to was just furthering the discussion, especially with you. You are on the up and up of everything I love also. I know RA will be able to sell to a lot more western consumers as these are very controversial ingredients. But I came to him in large part of these mixed with his distillations of rare ingredients and oud.
Musc Oud Maharaja by Auphorie is the best oud perfume I own. They do a yearly oud release and it sells out fast. They just released this years last week, I didn't hesitate it is my most anticipated release this year. Hope it lives up to the last one. https://auphorie.com/collections/imperial-oud-collection/products/chypre-oud-maharani
@Therapeutic Fragrance better than eo1? that's like saying there is a better lavender fragrance than mem.
try the pure parfum and maybe you'll change your mind
Hey Brother appreciate the dialogue. Yes you are hearing it here with my high score on EO1, Musc Oud Maharaja is easily a better oud perfume. Noticed I said oud. EO1 is the best leather I own, but Ensar used a very low quality oud in it as he does in most of his attars his ouds stand on their own as perfume. I own over thirty of them. Easily Musc oud Maharaja beats it in quality. I want to keep this stuff a secret but the mroe we share the more we push these creators to make better stuff. Auphorie is doing exceptional work. The new oud one will be gone. The people that know keep quiet that's how it was so hard for me to find. But I easily put them on the same level as AJD and EO. Also people don't talk about them because they are not getting free sample packs like RA and Bortnikoff continue to send out. I only spend my money on quality as we have many similar tastes so I am glad Auphorie is not hyped like others.
Great review. Sounds really interesting 🙂
You rock Agnes, just saying.
I love your reviews. Your knowledge and passion are impressive to me.
Thank you Constance, very encouraging.
I really like this one although i was slightly annoyed to recently find out it was cheaper in the past (USD 110 per 30ml). Wish I bought it much earlier. Anyways, looking forward to sampling more of their stuff. They do have some interesting work.
Unfortunately most house have to get recognized while barely making anything in their creations. For 33% concentration they to me are a great niche value. Ingredients that are unique. Of course I like their oud better but for over all composition I would argue this is the Apex.
Great review friend.
Thank you much, friend.
You have my subscribe because "Agnes Eva" said to subscribe 😀
Cheers my friend
She was so generous. One of the best. Thanks for checking it out.
Hell bro, great review! I really wanna try these house , I read the notes and sounds amazing! Would your recommend me making a blind buy for Miyako ?
They seem to continue making this one. Always sample when you can. I try to explain the best I can to make sure you will like notes but tastes differ so much. This house I love but a lot of there releases you have to either blind buy or miss out on. I know this batch they have remade a couple of times so I would definitely sample.
Do you have any experience with Satori by Parfum Satori ?
Just looked it up, love the concepts but haven't tried. Di Ser is my go to Japanese style perfume right now.
