******************WALIMAH-UPDATE************************************************************** Areej Le Dore has personally reached out to me to clarify Walimah. They originally released 100 bottles in Crystal and stated they had extra left over and if they did more of the attar would either continue numbering bottles there after or offer in different formats. What is currently available is a normal attar bottle that drives the price down. Instead of keeping price they actually charged less. They still have stock and it might make a return or be used somewhere else. As in the video I am very happy to have the 007 bottle of Walimah. And this just shows the classiness of the Areej Le Dore team. *************************************************************************************** I mean you go through all these companies everyday and then sit down and even smell this from the cap and it is just playing at another level. Seriously the juice in the bottle speaks for itself. The old saying proof in in the pudding, well proof is in the juice. Like watching MLS football and Spanish Football you can just visually see the difference. This is just smelling the difference blindfold or not this BAM for perfumery. I have become a big Tuberose head in the past year and as soon as I seen this listed as a note in attar format I knew this had to be added to the must have list. It’s no secret of what I think about Russian Adam and florals. His ingredients have yet to be surpassed. Here me carefully not his blending of ingredients, just the ingredients themselves. When you smell them they are the purest I have yet to smell. For this reason alone his perfumes score so hi for me. I can get past the blending and just enjoy the exceptional level of ingredients. If you have a sample of this spray a designer of similar notes on one arm and Areej Le Dore’s on the other sniff away and there is no comparison. You can smell the animalics, you can smell the pure beauty there is no faking the real thing at these concentrations. For this reason alone this is what makes these collection worthy. I am really digging into aging perfume at the moment for one reason that’s what makes these a solid investment. Design houses to run this operation were talking they would at least triple their prices that’s how big the barrier is to what you are buying. I do buy designer and synthetic niche, but it is for perfume mastery. Compositions that are one of a kind and deserve a place on my shelf. I will buy cheaper frags for layering, but here we are with Koh - I - Noor. Alright here comes Russian Adam flipping the script Boom Pow. Now he comes and puts must as the first note not holding back. Most perfumes have it hidden let the musk carry every ingredient on it’s back. BUT RA puts it as a first note and you know what, it works. It’s not a huge slap on the face, but a heavy whisper it’s there and right behind it come a bouquet of flowers you have never seen arranged this way before. The colors you can’t take your eye off of you try but it’s so unique you want to get it and show it off to the world. Russian Adam is solely responsible for getting me deep deep into florals and there power. They have so much to offer in a perfume not just and essential oil one note serenade, but as absolutes and different extractions you can smell everything the flower went through to come alive, you can smell the earth it’s from some soil and dirt musk. And different phases of the florals throughout the wearing that musk, oud, and ambergris gently whisk out as if it were blooming before your eyes. A blast of fruit just in the initial minute. Yummy sweet juicy fruity. Koh - I - Noor is a bouquet I want to surprise loved ones with on bright sunny days for no reason other than to show them there beautiful and I’m glad to be living life with them. There is a backbone Russian Adam is developing it was suttle in Flux de fleur, a little more prominent in Indolis and I can get whiffs of it throughout the 4th collection. This is a fragrance that opens opportunity to the imagination to see hope in everything. To know life has a purpose. You smell this wear this and the sillage alone is a testament to the beauty on Earth. There is purpose to this Earth and this is a testament to that. This fragrance is actually a testament that life has a purpose. It's so deep we can't emulate what is natural. The base is something that we aren't used to the Jasmine and tuberose is just different and amazing. This is a Perfume house that is taking the rule book you are supposed to follow and rewriting it. Not playing it safe but experimenting with expensive ingredients and sharing with us.

    1. Actually, LS does ship to Germany. When you check out and enter your address Germany is there in the drop down menu as well. If not LS, I'd recommend splashfragrance.in India based website that ships internationally and has sample sizes or even decants/splits of Areej Le Doré and Bortnikoff.

  1. This is my favourite house! After Walimah which i adore(especially the attar) Koh i noor is my favourite. Siberian musk from the second line is amazing too though i could get only a tiny sample of that. First line i missed completely. Great to see you reviewing ALD????

    1. So fortunate to have tried Siberian Musk (I missed out on that one) how does it compare to Russian Musk if you had the chance? Yes I am in the same boat on Walimah. (haven't tried perfume) Thanks for watching.

    2. @Therapeutic Fragrance i find Siberian musk to be a more creamy animalic musk than Russian musk which i find more powdery. There are hints of the same musk feel in Koh i noor too. But Siberian musk is full on!

    1. @Therapeutic Fragrance I think this is one of the better ALD. I would say i place this behind Ottoman Empire and Baikal Gris. Same spot as Oud Luwak.

    1. @Therapeutic Fragrance I've sampled it today so I'm still 'reflecting' on it. First impresion – dark mix of flowers, dry cacao and oud. And some spices are in the mix too. Oud is strong, dark, it has a distant 'jungle' vibe and animalic/leather undertones, some people would call it fizzy. Still it is not dominant and doesn't have that barnyard/hay effect.. I find it more on the masculine side. But I need more time with this dark behemoth ????
