After making remarks in earlier videos here we go. A master perfumer arguably the hottest on the market in last few years with awards in hand. Taking a shot with a ton of naturals. I have asked for it time to review it Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfumes Notes This opens loud a roaring thunder loud. Dirty, animalic, clean, pretty, beautiful. This brings it all. There is that soapiness that can't get through and I love it. Usually it comes on top of the fragrances but these florals are keeping it down. And I like it even more for that. This is what animalic are hands down in florals and no apologies are made. Very clear top with a nice change. Let's see if it is only heart or if we get just go to base. Because you know it's all about that base. This wants to be powdery but this just won't let it. The powdery hides down. This citrus musk is something I am getting used to and looking for. It's done here it's a distinctive Accord that is eerily familiar just never put my nose to it. Lol all your naturals finally give way and dissipate leaving a very familiar soapy dry down. No blow ups but it is all that's left. The citrus musk fades out behind. It did have three clear phases on.my skin.

Wearing Commes des Garcons Nomad Tea today bc it was hot! But storm is coming in tonight, so I’m going to find something darker for tomorrow’s rain..
That fragrance sounds really good currently testing an entire house based around tea. What is in your wheel house for dark fragrances?
Therapeutic Fragrance what house??! That reminds me, I have O Unknown for a dark tea scent. And Russian Caravan from Solstice Scents. Dark smell favorites are from HoM, or Ummagumma, or even gourmand (Teisenddu), or even ambergris scents, or dirt/petrichor (Desert Thunderstorm), or pine (Sawmill by Solstice Scents or Olympic Rainforest by Olympic Orchids). I have too many samples. I don’t know how I could decide if I had lots of bottles. Too overwhelming. Have you tried Olympic Orchids?
WOW! That took me a good half hour to go through and I loved every minute. Great fragrances. Teisenddu looks good they all look good. I have been on Olympic Orchids site before if it's on your IG could be from there or someone else. Think I am ordering there sample pack. Especially since there in the area. State of Mind is the house I am really loving them.
Therapeutic Fragrance I’m going to check them out. Def get a sample of Woodcut. Hamsa is interesting, too, if you like herbal, lighter incense smells.
Therapeutic Fragrance Dev Four: Reprise was a favorite incense, but I find it going sour on me now.

I think Lost of Flowers has a wonderful top, and it was how i wished Serge Lutens Des Profundis could have smelt like. I don't quite remember the dry down so I plan to sample it now to remind myself. Whenever i see the word soapy, white musk comes to mind.
I was impressed with the quality of notes amongst their releases. I nearly bought Melt my Heart (oil version) but changed my mind at the last moment.
I just finished the second sample from them it goes way down hill. I think these perfumes have a problem letting the ingredients speak for themselves.
@Therapeutic Fragrance Its been 2 hours since I've applied my Lost in Flowers extrait. It seems to go quiet after the first hour. The top was the best. I do get some soapiness but could that be coming from the flower naturals themselves? The oud was disappointingly quiet, would have preferred much bite. I applied a minimal amount and will try to apply twice the amount next time but for the price i shouldn't need too.
I didn't hammer the oud to much I am just glad they didn't call this lost in flowers with oud, because the only thing lost would be the oud. Not really sure I have ever gotten a soapy scent from florals. If I have a super nose for anything it is synthetics. There is for sure a synthetic that is soapy in here, I don't know if it's an accord or what particular one the only guess I have is ambroxan, but synthetic ambergris might be culprit to. I just have to test frags with this prominent ingredient and I will know for sure. My skin projects this soap so much it is soft in this one, but there. The same accord is heavier used in the sea one from this house. It is so sad because the florals used in this are very nice. Yes the heavy criticism is the price on this if they are at that level I feel we need to be a little louder letting them know we know are value. I think a lot of value is in the florals, but they sacrificed the base layer which is the most expensive part of the composition. Oud is in the sea one and it's just hardly there.
I know it's been about a year but I just wanted to say I liked the review and I agree with most of your points. I'm looking for a good floral and so far, none have been able to match up with Lost In Flowers. The base is non-existent and this could've been so much more that it would justify the price tag. I'm still debating whether or not I want to buy a bottle because I'm looking for a natural floral perfume with the same pop that this one has, but unfortunately, the search continues. It's a shame that there seems to be no such thing as a good quality, masculine/unisex, natural-ish floral perfume.

It would be fun to re visit this one. I hope I still kept the sample I have given a lot of them away. Been trying to think of florals that compare to this. I mean of course I love the work Russian Adam does with Champaka and Rose.
The samples are going for $6 on luckyscent.com. I've been buying samples of rose themed perfumes for the last couple of weeks, but so far, nothing. The one that came close was Penhalligon's Much Ado About the Duke. Rose, leather, and gin notes. Smelled very nice but it lasted only about 2 hours on my skin. I currently have samples of April Aromatics "Pinkwood" and Les Indemodables "Rose de Jamal" that just came in the mail today. They both smell very nice. High quality in my opinion. Almost on par with Lost in Flowers. I might be buying a bottle of one of these two because they're a lot cheaper. The only one I'd actually spring money on from Strangelove is Silence the Sea, which I did also see your review of that one. Since I live about 10 minutes from the ocean, I personally love it.
Correction: the Pinkwood takes on a somewhat rubbery tone after a few minutes. The Rose de Jamal is probably the winner here if it'll last more than a few hours.
